“The GroundWorks team has years of experience working successfully at the SEIU California State Council with local unions and community organizations. They have built member involvement programs that educated members, raised funds, grew leaders and got our people active and in the streets. If you’re looking for a creative plan to build activism in your organization, talk to GroundWorks.”

Member Engagement & Mobilization

California Labor FederationGroundWorks Campaigns is proud to partner with the California Labor Federation during 2010 in a year-long program to support California labor unions building member involvement for political action. The goal of the program is to “build an army” of working people and their families to help get politics in California back on track through victories at the ballot box.

As part of this program, we will be presenting three Campaign Schools for union activists and staff to prepare for the upcoming November elections. Participants will develop hands-on political campaign skills on topics such as volunteer recruitment, messaging, on-line organizing and Getting Out the Vote. Two-day Campaign Schools are scheduled for:

July 30-31 – Modesto
August 13-14 – Los Angeles
August 20-21 – Oakland
